I have tried windows photo to edit (…) clips to smaller size (1.2gb) and without any variable frame rate:įormat profile : settings : CABAC / 1 Ref Framesįormat settings, Reference frames : 1 frame Report Id: 762b6e13-78e8-492d-a193-e734689fb3fdįaulting package-relative application ID:īut since then I have tried re-install (clean out registry as well) and reboots of course. ![]() Ok so there was no update but event log found some filesįaulting application name: shotcut.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5fc2c716įaulting module name: swscale-5.dll, version: 5.5.100.0, time stamp: 0x00000000įaulting application start time: 0x01d76a7879cebb35įaulting application path: C:\Program Files\Shotcut\shotcut.exeįaulting module path: C:\Program Files\Shotcut\swscale-5.dll This is one of ‘smaller’ file I was working on before whole crashing issue happened.įormat profile : settings : CABAC / 2 Ref Framesįormat settings, Reference frames : 2 framesįormat/Info : Advanced Audio Codec Low ComplexityĪnd this is file I used to be able to work on but not anymore due to freeze (this is bigger in size) I am wondering if Windows did some update or something that is stopping Shotcut from being utilised properly? or maybe I have inadvertently turned something on/off? Task manager says CPU isn’t even fully utilized, running around 25% ish at most times. They would play fine, but as soon as they are added to Timeline, freeze happens. I even tried smaller files (videos about 15-20min length most, again 1080p) and even these wouldn’t load. I tried older versions (had latest version before) to see if that helped but nothing. Updated my GPU and made sure all my Windows updates was up to date, no virus or anything either. I have enabled Proxy as well (which I didn’t before)…and still no help. Preview was set at 720p, which I now lowered to 360. I’m running Windows 10 Pro, with Ryzen 3700, 32GB RAM, with 1060 6GB. (didn’t have proxy enabled either and had no problem…) Files I work with are 1080p, MP4 and size of about 17-20gb. Before this I had no problem loading videos, then trimming them down to parts I want & edit them. I tried searches already but nothing really fits my problem.Īll this started yesterday. ![]()
